Research InterestsBiology Education - Development of new teaching strategies and evaluation of current teaching methodologies. These include inquiry-based science, authentic/experiential learning, and research-driven, technology-based instruction involving molecular biology and other areas of science. Interests also include teacher preparation, development, and retention, as well as aspects of student learning and how these two areas impact one another.
